Blush & Bowties' New Home

Moving into a studio had been a long time dream and goal of mine. After working from home for the past 5 + years and spending WAY too many hours sitting at the kitchen table working, I was really feeling the need to have a work space. My condo has a mansion attached to it with a boardroom, which did work well for meetings, but it never felt like mine.

It was mid November 2017 and I woke up one morning and knew it was time to get a space. I was going to hold off for another year, but I just felt it was time - and within a week I had signed a lease on a 1000 square foot loft space in Leslieville and was moving in December 1.

We've been here almost 4 months now and I can say wholeheartedly moving into this space was one of the best career/life decisions I have made. I was able to expand my team, create a work/home life separation, and now have a space to host clients daily. Plus decorating the studio was pretty much a dream come true. I love that clients walk through our door and get a sense of our vibe and aesthetic right away. I am pretty darn stoked to share what we've made of the space in the last months and welcome you into our new abode. Photos are by the wonderful Christine Lim.
