Fine Art Wedding Inspiration

I have a deep connection and appreciation for the fine art aesthetic. Fine art is defined as "creative art whose products are to be appreciated primarily or solely for their imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content." The way I see it, fine art celebrates beauty at it's purest form.

Fine art is typically associated with photography, lending itself to a more airy and ethereal vibe (however fine art can also be dark and moody), but more importantly, a fine art photographer's intent lies in creating images that document the moment but can stand alone as a piece of art. Over the years, the style of fine art has extended past photography into a broader spectrum of fine art weddings. A fine art wedding, to me, considers wedding design as an art form, carefully considering textures, colour palates, and composition of the design. Personally, I gravitate towards this artistic approach and strive to create designs that are full of emotion, meaning, thoughtfulness and that are aesthetically beautiful.

Here are a selection of images that to me, capture the essence of a fine art wedding, ENJOY!
